Photographs taken by me, images edited in Photoshop.

I used an image of a landscape I took a photo of, blended dark clouds and coloured it to look like fire. Shaped it into a sphere and cut it out. Pasted it onto the hand image, darkened the edges and lightened the center, adding more fire effects.

Hand belongs to me. Burning sphere of fire also belongs to me... (Thus, idea belongs to me).

The idea behind this can left to the viewer to decide, but I had my own ideas while I was creating it.

It could be just a hand holding a burning sphere. Or it could hold a deeper meaning, depending on how you see it. Maybe it shows rage, anger concealed and controlled by the one who feels it or maybe it shows that power and destruction can be harnessed and used by a single hand, by anyone, even a child. The title is a clue as to my view of this.

Feel free to comment on what you see in this. Comments/criticism would be appreciated also.

The original, unedited photograph of the landscape did not look anything like the image above, if that's what you mean...

I would still have much to learn and a lot of practice to do with proper photo manipulations if I wanted to get as far as some of the talented photo-manipulators who have shown examples of their work on this site.

This is the sort of picture that i have always wanted to be able to create. Sadly, my talents do not lie in picutre editing or creating or... anything. You, however, did a wonderful job and I like it greatly.

If you want an idea for another one simmilar to this one...
-Take this picture IN the orb, take the NORMAL picutre, and composite it to the background behind the hand.
-Set the picutre in the orb as the background, and make the orb contain water or something.

Just a coupple of things that came to mind. This picture is setting my brain aflame with ideas (Ha...)... Too bad I can't DO any of them.
